這個聖誕節，
天父送了一份非常珍貴的禮物給我們。
孩子們還未知道所以然，
我和老公則十分感謝和期待。

親愛的家人和朋友，
如果你看得懂我們收到的禮物，
又有話要對我們說，
懇請說正面的、令人愉快的話，
否則請保持緘默。


We receive a very precious gift from our Heavenly Father this Christmas.
Jason and I felt so graceful and we are looking forward to it.
(It's too early to let the kids know the news at this moment.)

since my mom and my other family members will get mad about the news,

還有三天，其實蠻期待的……
Three more days to go, and I am quite looking forward to it....

真是一個值得紀念的日子！再過不久我就不用餵飯了！
What a day! I don't need to busy feeding baby at dinner time pretty soon!

每年年三十晚都會到上水太婆家附近吃團年飯。
所以甚麼辦年貨、買年花等等，都要在年廿九前辦妥。
往年我都是一個人帶著孩子們去逼花墟，
今年爸爸為我放了一天假，陪我準備過年的禮物，
還帶了我們一家去逛花墟，使我輕鬆了不少。
We go to Great Grandma's home for feast every lunar new year's eve.
I have to finish all the holiday preparation one day earlier --
the red pocket, fresh flowers, gifts... etc. Last few years,
I took the kids squeezed into the over-crowed
Flower Market by myself.
This year, Jason took a day off to help with the gifts
and also took all of us to the Flower Market.
That's help a lot.

今年我們買了桃花。花店裡還附有小小的賀年揮春賣，
用來掛在桃枝上，十分別緻。
We choose peach blossom this year.
There are little spring charms sold in the shop for the flower decoration
and it is very pretty.

在觀塘年霄市場，哥哥、二哥、雪雪和我都找到心頭好。

小妹終於肯自己看電視，可以找到時間教哥哥做飯！
Janet is watching TV by herself.
It spares me sometime for the brothers cooking lesson.



二哥負責雞蛋，
Mandi takes care of the eggs,



大哥負責蕃茄。
Nolan in charge of tomatoes.



哥哥們一輪努力後，今天晚餐有蕃茄煮蛋吃。
The boys work so hard and we have yummy dinner tonight.

根據這次經驗，哥哥們可以每個月學會一款菜式－－
這也意味著，我可以寄望半年後，
哥哥們可以每個星期主理一次晚餐，
我也有機會在旁晚時間躲懶躲懶了。
My plan is let the boys learn one dishes every month.
They may able to take care of the dinner once a week coming summer --
and I might have chance to take a good break during evening time!

早幾天才說我爸寵孩子，還不到一個月，二哥再次收到公公的意外驚喜。

大哥的相機也是公公精心挑選的。那次外公已答應迪迪八歲時會送他一部相機。

提早收到禮物，迪迪當然十分雀躍。他莫名的興奮感染了身邊的人。

Another big surprise from Grandpa!

Last time, when Grandpa send Nolan a new digital camera,
he promised Mandi that he will send him one when he is eight.
(Well, pa pa is very good at spoiling my kids ...)

Mandi is extremely excited (so as Nolan and Mandi's little friends)
especially when he receives this "big boy" gift three years
earlier.

先是大哥立刻就拿出自己的相機，大家交流一下攝影心得……

然後迪迪的同學仔傑傑也立刻充當模特兒讓大家試機……

向來是二哥首選的雪雪今天被冷落了，只有看的份兒。
Janet, usually the first priority of Mandi, is forgotten by her brother today.




回家路上，迪迪悄悄的對我說：「我會好錫我部相機！」
On the way home, Mandi whispers to me, "I will treasure my camera!"

每個農曆新年之前，孩子們都會畫一幅圖畫作賀卡。
我原以為雪雪明年才開始參與，不料她也要學哥哥們要了紙和筆，
高高興興的開始畫她的第一幅畫了。

The boys draw cards every Chinese New Year. I thought my girl is going to join them next year.
Instead, Janet yells for pencil and paper and starts her very first drawing tonight.

外公很會寵我的孩子。

今天是公公生日，不知怎的，公公倒是特意
為迪迪買了龍蝦逗他歡喜。（迪迪常說他未試過嘛！）



看著那麼大的蝦，和那兩隻大蚶，哥哥們怎會不興奮？
迪迪立刻拿起一隻來看，發現大蟹蚶下還有一對細蟹蚶，十分雀躍；
樂倫有點猶疑了，此終不敢碰一下。不過到公公煮蝦時，
他又很高興的嚷著：
「龍蝦變身了！」



孩子們也有外公的心意的。今年迪迪做了一個芝士蛋糕送給公公。

每次聞到烤麵包的香味、看到漲卜卜的麵包，都很感謝天父－－
雖然是用麵包機做的，但麵團所以能發起，乃是造物的奧秘；
而且經驗告訴我，麵團是可以因為很多小事，像小孩一樣鬧情緒，
不肯起來的。

病後的二豬和小豬忽然變得很會吃。

二哥自一年前起開始不大肯吃，加上增高了不小，所以體型變得頗瘦，加上連續腹瀉了好幾天，身上僅餘的肉都一下子不見了：手腕只有我的拇指和食指圈起來那麼粗、大腿比大哥的手臂還幼、小腿－－引用爸爸的話－－就像那些照片上鬧饑荒的地方的小孩子一樣，叫人看了很難過。

至於小，雖然上吐下瀉，她一直保持很想吃的狀態，只是病了的時候吃下去的都吐出來。

現在兄妹二人都好起來了，二哥好像終於發現太瘦不是一件好事，於是十分積極認真地吃正餐。此外他每天都額外要求多一份成人份量的茶點。（但晚餐的份量不變，通通吃掉！）



在他多次請求下，今天放學後特地給他買了一個美心的菠蘿油蟲蟲包作第二份茶點（這款包點他想了很久，不過它中間夾了三塊牛油，實在不太健康，所以一直沒有給他買。不過經此一役，他有足夠的配額去吃這些高脂食物了。）－－大概學校茶點的份量實在太少了－－迪迪一下子便把它吃掉了，而且吃得很高興。

雪雪好了以後一直要吃，有點瘋狂，也難於應付（例如十一時多還嚷著要吃爸爸的晚餐不肯去睡！）起初不明所以，到昨天她不停流口水才發現她在長牙－－是第七和第八隻牙仔－－大概她覺得很不舒服吧……

不過，看著哥哥高高興興的往場上跑，無論他是否得到一面獎牌，我也覺得很驕傲。

Nolan got lots of breakthough recently, getting his first metal in the school's sport day is one of those. Jason told an interesting story about this metal. Have a look on his site: t.b.c.

Nolan was having fun on the game. I am so proud of him no matter he got metal or not.

他們家四個孩子，我都有幸在兒童會或男女青年的時候服務過。
當年娃娃般的二姐姐還到了鹽湖城聖殿廣場傳道；最小的弟弟
已經比媽媽高了。

三隻豬豬自顧自玩，非常盡興。
